Hello,

I’m a Macintosh french user, primary school teacher (K12) and president of an Apple Users Group (Education), MédiaMômes Lot, whose objective is to develop the use of computers in the world of education with teachers and children.
In this way, I try to select the most useful and easier software for our members. Many of them are shareware in english versions and this is a brake for many french users.
So I propose to translate the soft and their documentation to make them easy to use and to make them known in France.
The shareware system is less developed in France and I think it’s a good way to expand it.

The deal could be :
* I translate your software and when the job is done, I will send you back the french version, so you can see the result and, approuved or not.
* I retain no charge and no right for doing this job. I will just be pride, if you give me the opportunity, of adding “another brick in the wall” of the Macintosh world !!.
And perhaps you will give me a few lines in the "read me" file and the About window to catch the possible comments of users.

Waiting for news…
Sincerely yours
Bertrand

Thank you! your application is really fantastic. I would be willing to pay for two more features:
- Screenshots of entire web pages (like paparazzi for example)
- Automatic upload to a web service, or ftp (as tinygrab for example)

If you translate it into Italian, take a whistle:)

Hi giovanna
Thank you for your message.

I will release the screenshots of web pages function in this year (maybe a few month later..).
And I consider the automatic upload function.

Italian localization is very nice! but I can not write italian language ...

Best regards,
Hiroshi

hello,
thanks for the reply to the comment. If I want I can translate it into Italian. Just duplicate and rename the folder English.lproj in Italian.lproj and customize credits.html, Localizable.strings and MainMenu.strings?

hi again, hiroshi.

just putting here my 2 suggestions for simplecap:

application presets (preferences): +/- buttons to add/remove so we can remove an app without the open dialog.

simple viewer: between the image preview and the icons on the bottom it could show thumbnails of all the images in the image folder (with horizontal scrolling), so we could browse and preview faster (currently i have to click "next" to go through all the images if i wanna go from image 5 to image 20).

Hi straycat.

Your ideas are very nice. I consider your suggestions.

Thanks a lot,
Hiroshi

Hi Hiroshi,
First of all, thank you very, very much for such a simple but well needed app! :-)
Could I request the ability to re-map the keyboard shortcut for SimpleCap as this interferes with 'view at 100%' in Photoshop!?

straycat March 23, 2010 12:39 AM

Richard, you can re-map the main keyboard shortcut to invoke SimpleCap in the menubar, in the preferences.
